Byers Hall

Byers Hall is at the southeastern corner of UCSF’s Mission Bay campus, at the intersection of 16th Street and 4th Street in San Francisco.

Byers Hall hosts research laboratories for 41 principal investigators. On the first floor the Margaret Hart Surbeck Laboratory for Advanced Imaging and the Michael J. Homer Center for Computational Biology occupy custom-designed space; the Small Molecule Discovery Center is situated on the fifth floor. The QB3 Garage and Innolab can be found on the second floor.

Eight conference rooms with capacities from 15 to 50 people are available for scheduling.

Byers Hall is connected to, but distinct from, Genentech Hall, and overlooks the central green quadrangle of the Mission Bay campus.
